Welcome!
From 2018-2022 I served as a Select Board member and from 2022 though the present as a member of that Finance Committee and Capital Planning Committee.
While serving in various position for the Town I have demonstrated a proven track record of asking “Why?” the hard questions that need to be asked and answered not only to expose and eliminate wasted time, money, and resources but also so information is available to residents.
I strongly support streamlining government to make it more efficient and customer service oriented for residents. The Town is again approaching the kickoff of numerous multi-million dollar projects such as the DPW, Goodwin, Russell School, Hopkins Renovations and many others. As someone who has extensive experience managing complex projects involving construction, managing large workforces, and holding stakeholders such as contractors and vendors accountable for their work I will work to prevent waste and ensure the townspeople get what they pay for as these projects move forward.
I can promise that no one will ever agree with every decision that I make. But one of the benefits of not having to vote along party lines or repay campaign donations (I DON’T ACCEPT CAMPAIGN DONATIONS) by way of voting a certain way or advancing special interest projects here in town means that I can ALWAYS vote in the overall best interest of Hadley and its residents. We can have disagreements and varying viewpoints on anything in town politics but in the end it’s not about personal agendas but our Hadley neighbors and community.
If elected I promise to continue improving the availability of information, government transparency, and public engagement through the use of modern technology and open communication. I have a proven track-record of getting things done - whether that is successfully completing difficult negotiations, overcoming logistical hurdles, or solving complex problems I will continue using those skills to improve the thing we all love ... the Town of Hadley.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR VOTE ON MAY 21st 2024.
