About

David J. Fill II

I was born and raised on Middle Street in Hadley and attended Hooker Elementary School, Russell School, and Hopkins Academy while also working on a local farm on West Street.

After graduating from Hopkins Academy I joined the United States Air Force where I served for over ten years on active duty and in the reserves all over the world including combat tours in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

After serving in the military I started a successful contracting business as well as an aviation consulting firm, then became a Corporate Pilot, and finally a Federal Law Enforcement Officer. I have served on numerous community organizations, charities, and professional organizations over the years fighting for what is best for my family and the community as a whole. I hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Government Politics and Policy as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) focusing on Project Management.

My wife Brandi is an Air Force Veteran and former Airport Manager at Los Angeles International Airport and Portland International Airport. We know there is not a better place on earth than here in Hadley to raise our our three children Audra (10 years old), David III (9 years old), and Cora (6 years old).

As a combat veteran, law enforcement officer, business owner, father, and husband, I have proven my leadership abilities, integrity, and success over the years using a common sense approach to problem solving and implementing cutting-edge programs and solutions for complex issues. I strongly support an open dialogue between citizens and elected officials. I believe that the Town Meeting form of government we have is one of the best in the world for ensuring that everyone, and every issue, has a fair chance to be heard. I don’t act based on a personal agenda or vote based on political party lines, but rather what is in the best interest of Hadley as a whole.
